Aleksandar Stanković Set For Club Brugge Move As €10m Deal With Inter Finalised

Aleksandar Stanković is about to join Club Brugge. The Belgian club has made a deal with Inter Milan. The 19-year-old midfielder will go to Belgium for medical tests. The transfer fee is around €10 million. Inter will have a buy-back option and will get a percentage of future sales.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Inter Milan and Club Brugge have completed the transfer of Aleksandar Stanković. Inter can buy him back for €22 million in 2026 or €25 million in 2027, which has been confirmed in a recent report regarding the agreement. Stanković is the son of former Inter captain Dejan and impressed during a loan in Switzerland. Club Brugge needed a replacement for the departing Ardon Jashari and signed him soon. The final announcement will happen after his medical clears.

STANKOVIĆ’S SEASON AND CLUB BRUGGE’S PLANS

While on loan, Stanković impressed with his maturity and passing ability. At 19, he is one of the best prospects in his age group. Club Brugge finished second in the Belgian Pro League last season and want to win the title this time. They expect him to have an immediate impact on their midfield, especially after losing some key players over the summer.

WHAT NEXT FOR INTER, CLUB BRUGGE, AND STANKOVIĆ?

Inter Milan have long-term control over Stanković’s future with the buy-back and sell-on clauses, as noted in the terms of the recent transfer. Club Brugge face Gent in their league opener this weekend and then Zulte Warenge; they need a new midfielder, with Stanković set to join. Both clubs have ambitions to win the top-flight title this season. This move brings Stanković to a bigger platform, and Inter will closely follow his progress.
