Wesley, 21, has chosen to join Roma and awaits Flamengo’s approval to travel to Italy. The transfer is worth €25 million, plus €5 million in add-ons. Emerson Royal from AC Milan is expected to replace him at Flamengo. Wesley will sign a five-year contract with AS Roma, earning €2.5 million per year plus bonuses, as reported recently.

Wesley has been performing well for Flamengo, even scoring a key goal in their 2-1 win over Bragantino. Roma have also added Neil El Aynaoui and Evan Ferguson to their squad for 2025-26, with the latter’s loan arrangement reportedly nearing a completion of €25-30 million option to buy according to reports.
