Juventus Continue Negotiations With PSG for Randal Kolo Muani
Juventus are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain about Randal Kolo Muani. Both clubs will have new negotiations next week to agree on a transfer.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Kolo Muani spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus from PSG. He did well, scoring 10 goals and making three assists in 22 games. He quickly gained coach Igor Tudor’s trust, becoming a starter before Dusan Vlahovic.
Despite signing Jonathan David for free this summer, Juventus want Kolo Muani back. The player also wants to return, and both teams are in touch.
However, PSG wants a permanent move or a loan with an obligation to buy. Juventus prefers a loan with an option to purchase. This delay is slowing progress as they try to find agreement.
JUVENTUS AND PSG’S SEASON SO FAR
Last season, Juventus finished fourth in Serie A, qualifying for the UEFA Champions League and just behind champions Napoli, Inter and Atalanta. Juventus are reorganizing their attack under new coach Igor Tudor, aiming to enhance their performance this season.
PSG won Ligue 1 again, but Kolo Muani struggled for playing time. He made 54 appearances for PSG over two seasons, scoring just 11 goals. In the 2024/25 season, PSG achieved several victories, including winning the Coupe de France and the Trophée des Champions, while also securing their first UEFA Champions League title.
Juventus hopes to improve their attack for the upcoming season, aiming to close the gap to champions Napoli in Serie A.
WHAT NEXT FOR JUVENTUS AND KOLOR MUANI?
The next round of negotiations is next week as both clubs try to resolve the transfer situation. Juventus is preparing for their opening Serie A match against Parma, who finished 11th last season.
PSG will start their Ligue 1 campaign against Nantes, who finished last year just outside of European spots and remain strong contenders in France. Kolo Muani’s future is uncertain, but all parties are working to find a solution as the new season approaches fast.
