Girona Set to Sign Manchester City’s Vitor Reis on Loan

Reports suggest that Girona are in the final stages of negotiations with Manchester City regarding the signing of Vitor Reis. The clubs are tying up the final administrative steps before the 20-year-old defender travels to Spain to finish his move. Reis is reportedly set to join the Catalan side, with City retaining a buy-back option. He will be joining a Girona side that is preparing for another campaign in La Liga after their historic 2023-24 season, where the club finished third and secured Champions League qualification for the first time in history as City finished third in the 2024-25 table. Last season, however, Girona struggled and almost faced relegation when they finished 16th in La Liga.
