Kingsley Coman Edges Closer to Al Nassr Move as Negotiations Intensify

Kingsley Coman is likely to leave Bayern Munich for Al Nassr soon. Talks are advanced, and a deal is close. The French winger is open to the move, and both clubs are trying to finalize everything. According to recent updates, Al Nassr wants Kingsley Coman as their main signing for the 2025-26 season.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Al Nassr sent an official offer to Bayern Munich on Friday for Kingsley Coman. This is a big step in negotiations. Everyone is hopeful about reaching a full agreement soon.

Coman has already agreed to personal terms with Al Nassr. Now, only the transfer fee needs to be settled. Reports say Bayern Munich wants around €30 million for the 29-year-old. Coman is looking for a new challenge after losing his spot at the club due to Luis Diaz’s arrival. As confirmed in reports, Al Nassr are actively pursuing Coman.

At Al Nassr, his likely teammates include Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané, and Marcelo Brozovic.

WHY THIS TRANSFER MATTERS

Coman has been very successful since joining Bayern in 2015. He won nine Bundesliga titles and scored the winning goal in the 2020 Champions League final. Last season, he played 32 times in all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing six assists as Bayern won the Bundesliga again. His statistics illustrate his consistent performance, as he scored nine goals and made six assists in 45 appearances during the previous campaign.

But with more competition for his spot, his playing time has decreased, which has encouraged him to seek a move. For Al Nassr, signing Coman is part of their ambitious recruitment plan. They already signed João Félix this summer for over £40 million.

Al Nassr finished third in the Saudi Pro League last season and aim to close the thirteen-point gap to last year’s champions Al Ittihad. With Coman’s addition, Al Nassr’s attack will be stronger as they aim to win the league title under new coach Jorge Jesus.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR COMAN AND AL NASSR?

The final step in the deal is to agree on the transfer fee between Bayern and Al Nassr. If the transfer goes through, Coman will likely debut in the opening rounds of the 2025-26 Saudi Pro League, with Al Nassr’s first game expected against Al Shabab.

After finishing third last year, Al Nassr knows they need immediate results to compete with Al Hilal and Al Ittihad, their main rivals. With Coman’s arrival, Al Nassr aims to compete for both the league and other trophies in the upcoming season.
