Juventus Seal Agreement With Randal Kolo Muani As PSG Negotiations Intensify

Juventus have reached a full contract agreement with French striker Randal Kolo Muani. He has chosen not to talk to any other club, even though teams in England were reportedly interested. Now, Juventus are in final talks with Paris Saint-Germain about a deal worth around €55 million. The transfer will start with a loan and include an obligation to buy later, as confirmed by reports indicating that Juventus are working hard to sign Randal Kolo Muani this month.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Juventus and Kolo Muani started negotiations in June. The 26-year-old striker impressed during his loan with the team last season. He performed well in both Serie A and international competitions. Kolo Muani and Juventus quickly agreed on personal terms. The French forward made it clear he wanted to return to Turin, ignoring interest from Newcastle United and other clubs. Now, they are focused on a loan deal with PSG. Juventus will pay up to €55-60 million in total, which includes previous loan payments and future obligations. This transfer is expected to be completed as Juventus are negotiating a deal for Randal Kolo Muani to return from PSG, and it does not depend on what happens with striker Dusan Vlahovic’s future.

JUVENTUS THIS SEASON

Juventus finished fourth in the 2024-25 Serie A season, missing the title to Napoli, and they secured Champions League football for the upcoming season. Kolo Muani was important during his six-month loan, scoring 10 goals and making three assists in 22 games. His speed, work rate, and direct style helped Juventus finish strong. He also played in the Club World Cup as the team reached the quarter-finals. Even though there were rumors, no other club talked seriously with Kolo Muani; he was determined to stay with Juventus. His parent club, PSG, finished as winners in Ligue 1, leaving behind teams like Marseille and Monaco and winning a historical Champions League.

WHAT’S NEXT?

Juventus will finish the transfer paperwork soon, planning to announce Kolo Muani’s return before their first match next week against Parma. Juventus want to close the gap to rivals Napoli and Inter this season. Meanwhile, PSG plans to reinvest funds before their first Ligue 1 match against Nantes. Juventus fans expect Kolo Muani to start training soon, and he is likely to play alongside Jonathan David in attack. This transfer gives Juventus a much-needed boost as they try to reclaim the top spot in Italy and Europe.
