Juventus Reject Al Ahli’s €25M Bid For Manuel Locatelli

Juventus have turned down a €25 million offer from Al Ahli for Manuel Locatelli. They want to keep their club captain. Juventus and Locatelli are not interested in a move. Al Ahli will now look at other players this summer.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Al Ahli wanted Locatelli and offered €25 million. They thought he could strengthen their midfield. They even considered raising their offer to €30 million, but Juventus flatly rejected it. Locatelli is a key part of manager Igor Tudor’s plans, having recently become the club’s captain this season. Reports say Locatelli is content at Juventus. Now Al Ahli will move on to other targets.

JUVENTUS AND LOCATELLI: CURRENT SEASON PERFORMANCE

Juventus finished fourth in Serie A last season and will want to improve their performance for this season. Locatelli has played in each game and has been influential in the middle for Juventus. He is yet to score but has been essential defensively. Locatelli’s role as captain has become even more important as Juventus aim to catch up to Inter Milan and Napoli, two teams just ahead of them in the standings. Juventus have begun the 2025-26 Serie A season aiming to improve from fourth place last season, during which they missed the title to Napoli.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR JUVENTUS AND AL AHLI?

Al Ahli are expected to go after other midfield options, with Monaco’s Denis Zakaria being at the top of their list. As negotiations for Zakaria continue, Juventus get ready for their next Serie A match against Parma. Parma finished 16th last season and will want to gain distance to the relegation battle. By rejecting Al Ahli’s bid, Juventus have shown their desire to build around Locatelli and finish in the top three, aiming to close the gap to rivals Napoli and Inter this season.
