Harry Kane Scores Perfect Hat-Trick In Bundesliga Opener

Harry Kane announced his return to Bundesliga action in stunning style, as the 32-year-old netted his third German league treble to fire Bayern Munich to a 6-0 thrashing of RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena.

KANE SHINES ON OPENING NIGHT

Kane was on target in the 64th, 74th and 77th minutes, with all three goals coming during a pulsating second half. The first of the lot was assisted by Michael Olise’s cross.

Kane’s perfect hat-trick is a huge statement of intent, and a first goal of the 2025/26 campaign, and a strong statement by Bayern Munich as the team sets the pace for another Bundesliga campaign and, hopefully, another title.

IMPACT ON BAYERN AND THE LEAGUE

The result puts Bayern top of the table, but every other Bundesliga team is yet to play their match this weekend.

Kane’s treble was also his first in the Bundesliga for the season. In addition, Bayern started the season by winning the German Super Cup, reinforcing their strong start to the campaign.

Bayern will now face Wiesbaden in the DFB-Pokal match before traveling to Augsburg for the 2nd match of the Bundesliga campaign.
