Jan Ziolkowski to Join AS Roma From Legia Warsaw

WHAT HAPPENED?

AS Roma have completed a deal with Legia Warsaw for 20-year-old center back Jan Ziolkowski. He caught the eye of many clubs in Europe this summer, having recently made over 30 appearances for Legia Warsaw and scoring once, while assisting twice. Despite interest from Germany and elsewhere, Ziolkowski chose the Italian club. Roma will pay €6.6 million, with Legia receiving 10% of any future sale. WHY ROMA WANTED ZIOLKOWSKI
