Luis Maximiano Set To Join NEOM SC After €6M Transfer From Almería
Portuguese goalkeeper Luis Maximiano is set to sign a four-year contract with NEOM SC, as reported by a recent update. Almería have agreed to a €6 million fee plus a 15% sell-on clause. The transfer comes because NEOM SC urgently needs a goalkeeper after Marcin Bułka’s injury.
TRANSFER DETAILS AND REACTION
Almería and NEOM SC have reached an agreement on a deal worth €6 million for the 26-year-old Maximiano, with Almería also set to receive 15% of any future sale. The move comes after Bułka’s long-term injury, forcing NEOM SC to find a replacement before the transfer window shuts. Maximiano played 30 games for Almería last season, keeping six clean sheets and allowing in 47 goals. He performed steadily, even though Almería finished 19th in La Liga and got relegated, as they are now competing in the Spanish Segunda División.
