Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka is ready to return for Arsenal’s Premier League match against Fulham on Tuesday.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Saka has been out since December 21 with a hamstring injury that required surgery. The 23-year-old winger has missed over three months of action but has now fully recovered and returned to full training. Saka posted a picture of himself back in training on social media last week with the caption “Hello again”, signaling his imminent return.

Arsenal have dropped in form recently, and will be looking forward to having the England international back on the squad as soon as possible.

WHAT MIKEL ARTETA SAID

The Arsenal boss confirmed Saka’s availability during his pre-match press conference, stating: “All the careful things are already done. Now it’s about getting him on the grass in the right moments. But he’s pushing. We’ve had to hold him back even. He’s a massive weapon. We know how important his contribution is to our success. It’s great to have him back.”

WHAT NEXT FOR BUKAYO SAKA?

Saka’s return comes at a crucial time for Arsenal as they prepare for vital fixtures in the Premier League and Champions League. While he may not start immediately against Fulham, Saka is expected to be in the matchday squad and could make a substitute appearance. His full return to the starting lineup may come in time for Arsenal’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Real Madrid on April 8. Saka’s comeback provides a huge boost to Arsenal’s attacking options as they look to finish the season strongly in both domestic and European competitions.

Saka has 15 goal contributions this season in the Premier League, 3 more than Havertz even though he has missed over 3 months of football. He will try to prove crucial for the team before the end of the season.
