Luis Enrique Leads PSG to First Champions League Win

PSG manager Luis Enrique is now a legendary coach. He led PSG to their first UEFA Champions League title with a big 5-0 win over Inter Milan.

CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE

PSG have finally won the European title. They defeated Inter Milan 5-0 in an easy final in Munich. This win shows how much PSG have improved under Luis Enrique, who became their manager in 2023. This win also completes a great season for PSG. They have now won four titles – Ligue 1, Coupe de France, Trophée des Champions, and UEFA Champions League.

THE MASTERMIND BEHIND SUCCESS

Enrique has now won the Champions League with two different clubs. He joins Pep Guardiola and other managers who have won a treble with more than one team. Enrique is known for his demanding approach and focus on teamwork. He has turned PSG from a group of stars into a unified team that works together on and off the pitch.

Enrique, from Gijon, Spain, is known for his full-hearted approach. Borja Cortina, a bar owner from his hometown, described him as someone who is direct. Here, in Gijon, people work hard, and that’s what Enrique demands from his team. This philosophy seems to be working. Even without former star Kylian Mbappé, Enrique’s players have bought into his approach.

EYES ON THE CLUB WORLD CUP

With the European title in the bag, Enrique is already focused on the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. In his post-match press conference, he declared that we’re going to approach it seriously. Our goal is to finish this season well and then continue with another win in the Club World Cup.

PSG will be in Group B of the tournament, where they will face Atletico Madrid, Botafogo, and Seattle Sounders. The tournament will take place in the United States, starting on June 14. With their current form, PSG will be one of the favorites, and they will be gunning for another title with their inspiring manager leading the way.
