David Hancko Set for Al Nassr Move as Feyenoord Await Formal Bid

Feyenoord expect Al Nassr to bid soon for defender David Hancko. Hancko and the Saudi club have agreed on personal terms.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Talks between Al Nassr and Hancko are moving fast. Hancko, contracted with Feyenoord until 2028, has agreed to join Al Nassr. Next, they need a club-to-club offer, which Feyenoord expects to get soon. Reports say Al Nassr are preparing an offer close to €32 million. If so, Hancko would be the most expensive player sold by the Dutch club, more than Santiago Giménez’s €32 million transfer to AC Milan.

FEYENOORD AND HANCKO: SEASON SO FAR

Hancko, 27, has been key in Feyenoord’s defense since joining from Sparta Prague in 2023. This season, Hancko played almost all games, helping Feyenoord finish second in the Eredivisie, just behind PSV. His performances attracted interest from clubs like Juventus and Chelsea, but no offers followed. Feyenoord’s strong defense was important for their league finish, and losing Hancko would hurt before the new season starts.

If Hancko moves, he will join Al Nassr, who are ambitious and have players like Cristiano Ronaldo. Al Nassr finished second in the Saudi league, narrowly behind Al Hilal.
