Jude Bellingham Strikes Again: 15th Goal Caps Incredible Season and World Cup Start

Jude Bellingham scored his 15th goal of the season, marking his first goal of the World Cup. He now has 29 goal contributions, and celebrated in style to send a message to his critics.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Bellingham scored again, this time in a key World Cup game, to open his goal account at the showpiece event. It was his 15th goal of the season for club and country, consolidating his status as one of the most dangerous midfielders in the world at present. He now has 29 goal involvements (goals plus assists) this season, highlighting his efficiency and output in the final third. Bellingham celebrated by putting his finger to his lips, to silence any remaining critics, after scoring the goal.

BELLINGHAM AND HIS CLUB SEASON

Bellingham’s club form has also been sensational this term. In the 2024/25 season, he scored nine goals and provided eight assists in 31 La Liga games to help Real Madrid finish second in the table with 84 points, four adrift of defending champions Barcelona. England’s first-choice midfielder’s numbers are almost unreal, especially from midfield. No wonder he is playing regularly for Real Madrid and England at the highest level at just 23 years of age.

WHAT COMES NEXT?

Bellingham will now focus on helping England progress through the group stages after crossing the first hurdle in the form of Austria. As for Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti’s side are enjoying the off-season after finishing second and losing in the semi-finals of the Champions League. However, Los Blancos will regroup soon and prepare for the next season, with their eyes on silverware. There is one thing that is certain, Bellingham will still be critical to their success even next season.
