AC Milan Makes Offer for Club Brugge’s Ardon Jashari

AC Milan is trying to bring midfielder Ardon Jashari from Club Brugge. They made an official offer of €25 million plus €5 million in bonuses. Brugge wants more money because other top clubs, including those in England, are also interested.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On Tuesday, AC Milan offered Club Brugge a deal worth €30 million. This includes a €25 million base and €5 million in bonuses for Swiss midfielder Ardon Jashari. Brugge is asking for more since the race to sign the 22-year-old has intensified as other teams in England want him. The Milan club is negotiating to make him their main midfield addition this summer.

According to a previous report we published, AC Milan finished outside of the European spots Serie A, and are selling players to prepare for next season’s reduced revenues.

WHY MILAN WANTS JASHARI

Jashari was one of the best players in Belgium during the 2024-25 season, scoring four goals and providing six assists in 52 appearances. He is a box-to-box midfielder with a strong defensive and attacking presence, and his performances have caught AC Milan’s attention. AC Milan wants to improve its squad to challenge Serie A winners Inter and second-place Juventus, so it’s looking to strengthen the midfield by adding him.

According to a previous report we published, Milan has sold Rijndeers, Hernandez and has gotten inquiries for Maignan, thus needing to improve their squad for next season.

WHAT’S NEXT?

Talks between the two clubs will intensify as AC Milan decides whether to increase its offer to match Club Brugge’s €30 million demand or face competition from other teams. Club Brugge, which is already in the Champions League qualifiers, is under no pressure to sell the player immediately. The next few weeks will determine whether AC Milan can secure Jashari’s services for the remainder of the season.
