He scored his first goal for the club in a 5-1 triumph over Manchester City. Internationally, he became the youngest player to score for England on his debut against Albania. Lewis-Skelly’s performances earned him a nomination for the PFA Young Player of the Year award.

He racked up 39 appearances and netted his first senior goal this season, as previously reported.

RISING STAR IMPACTS ARSENAL’S SEASON

Arsenal’s decision to secure Lewis-Skelly long-term follows a successful season. His defensive prowess added stability to the team, making him crucial in Arsenal’s run to the Champions League semi-finals and their second place Premier League finish. From the academy to becoming a key player, Lewis-Skelly has become a fan favourite. He has gained praise for his humility and ambition from coaches and supporters alike.

He once again proved to be a hero as he helped Arsenal reach the semi-finals of the Champions League, who ensured a top-two finish in the league. His important displays throughout the season earned him a new long-term deal, as we reported earlier this week.
