Besiktas Secure Loan Deal for Czech Left-Back David Jurasek

Besiktas have completed the loan signing of David Jurasek from Benfica. The Czech left-back joins the Istanbul club despite interest from Greek, Italian, and German clubs. Besiktas are looking to strengthen their defense for next season by acquiring the 24-year-old left-back from Benfica. The clubs have finalised all agreements involved in a loan move. Jurasek, who struggled for minutes during a loan spell at Hoffenheim last season, will go out on loan once again. He will be hoping for more game time ahead of the UEFA Euro 2028.

Jurasek spent the last season out on loan at Bundesliga club Hoffenheim, but struggled for minutes. The Czech international decided to end his loan early and move clubs to play more regularly. Besiktas made their move very quickly after the player was recalled, and have reached an agreement with Benfica and Jurasek.

After finishing fourth in the Süper Lig this season, Besiktas will be looking to strengthen next season and move up the table to challenge Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe for the title.
