Tammy Abraham to Join Besiktas on Four-Year Deal
English striker Tammy Abraham is set to officially join Besiktas. He signed a four-year contract, ending his time in Serie A and beginning a new chapter in Turkey.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Besiktas secured Tammy Abraham‘s services, agreeing to a deal that keeps the 27-year-old forward with the club until 2029. Abraham joins from AS Roma after spending the 2024-25 season on loan at AC Milan, where he had 10 goals and 7 assists in 44 appearances. The Turkish club reportedly paid around €20 million for the transfer, and Abraham is expected to earn approximately €6 million a year. He will work under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who took charge of Besiktas midway through the season and oversaw a late improvement in their league form.
A previous report confirmed Besiktas’s agreement to a four-year deal with Tammy Abraham that extends until 2029.
BEFINALS’ SEASON AND ABRAHAM’S IMPACT
Beşiktaş finished fourth in the Süsüper Lig this season after a tough start. Improvement came under Solskjaer, but they ended up 14 points from the Champions League places. The club hopes that Abraham, who was second in Serie A for goals created per 90 minutes, can provide more scoring opportunities. Abraham joins a squad that also includes fellow Englishman Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. His goals and assists at Milan show his ability to contribute at critical moments; he scored the pivotal goal in the Supercoppa Italiana final.

Their next match is a season opener against Konyaspor, who finished ninth last season. All eyes will be on Abraham to score goals and elevate the club’s domestic and European ambitions.
