Trey Nyoni Signs New Long-Term Liverpool Contract on 18th Birthday

Liverpool have signed young midfielder Trey Nyoni to a new long-term contract. They did so on his 18th birthday. The deal shows his quick rise as an exciting talent at Anfield.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Nyoni signed his contract at Liverpool‘s AXA Training Centre. He extended his time with the Reds. He joined from Leicester City in September 2023. Since then, he’s played for the U18, U19, U21, and senior teams. Nyoni made his debut for the senior team in an FA Cup match against Southampton in February 2024. He was just 16 years and 243 days old. That made him the fourth-youngest player to debut for Liverpool.
