IMPACT ON JUVENTUS AND LAST SEASON’S NUMBERS
David joins Juventus after an impressive season with Lille, where he scored 19 goals and made 4 assists in 39 games in Ligue 1, the Champions League, and the Coupe de France. He has also scored 41 goals in 76 appearances for Canada at the international level. Juventus finished last season in Serie A in fourth place, but with a considerable distance to champions Napoli. The team’s main strikers, including Dusan Vlahovic, struggled with consistency and injuries. WHAT LIES AHEAD

Their opener is against Parma, who finished middle of the table last season and are seen as a good test for matchday 1. Juventus’ goal is to close the gap on Inter and AC Milan, who finished last season in first and second place, respectively. With David now leading their attack, Juventus fans will want a winning start and hope their new signing can have an immediate impact.
