AC Milan are closely watching Embolo. Their new manager wants a striker to compete with Santiago Gimenez. Tammy Abraham and Luka Jovic have left. Milan like Embolo’s physical presence and experience. TRANSFER MARKET IMPLICATIONS

Their main forwards struggled and Gimenez is still adapting. Milan are serious about improving their squad for the Champions League.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR ALL PARTIES?

Both teams see Embolo as a player who can strengthen their attack. With his contract nearing its end, a transfer could happen quickly. Embolo must decide if he wants to stay at Monaco or take on a new challenge in Serie A or elsewhere.
