Al Ahli Open Door To Franck Kessié Exit Amid Summer Transfer Interest

Saudi Pro League team Al Ahli may let midfielder Franck Kessié go this summer if they receive a good offer. Several clubs are interested in the Ivorian international.

KESSIÉ COULD LEAVE AL AHLI THIS SUMMER

Al Ahli are ready to sell Franck Kessié, but they want the right offer for both the club and the player. Fiorentina contacted Al Ahli two weeks ago about a transfer. Many other clubs also want to sign Kessié as the transfer window gets busy.

Kessié has been important for Al Ahli this season. He played 44 games, scored four goals, and made five assists. He was crucial in Al Ahli’s historic AFC Champions League win, where they lifted the trophy for the first time in the 2024/25 season.

SERIE A CLUBS COMPETE FOR SIGNATURE

Interest in Kessié is rising in Italy. He previously played for Atalanta and AC Milan there. Fiorentina made initial contact, while Juventus also showed strong interest. But Juventus need to manage Kessié’s current high salary, which is much more than their wage limits.

Kessié joined Al Ahli from Barcelona in 2023. He has two years left on his contract, but wants to return to Serie A. Fiorentina finished 8th last year. Kessié could boost their squad as they prepare for another Serie A season. Juventus, last season’s 4th placed team, also want new midfielders as they aim to challenge better for next year’s title.
