Al Nassr Open Talks for Kingsley Coman Transfer
Al Nassr have started talks to sign Bayern Munich’s winger, Kingsley Coman. Coman, a French international, is the club’s top target to strengthen their team for the 2025-26 season.
AL NASSR STEP UP PUSH FOR NEW WINGER
Al Nassr want to win the Saudi Pro League this season after coming third last year according to reports. They have been very active in this summer’s transfer market, bringing in João Félix from Chelsea and reaching an agreement to sign Iñigo Martínez from Barcelona in January. Now, they have begun negotiations with Coman, offering a reported €20–25 million per season on a proposed deal until 2028. Talks between the clubs are ongoing, but Coman has yet to make a final decision.
WHY COMAN IS THE TOP TARGET
Though Coman has made 45 appearances this season despite injury problems, he is not happy with his minutes under recently appointed head coach Vincent Kompany. Bayern signed Luis Diaz in the winter transfer window, which has reduced Coman’s game-time further. The winger, who has played on the right wing, has won nine Bundesliga titles and a Champions League at Bayern. He would solve Al Nassr’s problems on the right-hand side, especially with Otavio expected to leave the team.
WHAT LIES AHEAD FOR AL NASSR
As Al Nassr prepare for their Saudi Pro League opener against Al Hazem, they aim to close the seven-point gap to last year’s champions Al Ittihad. Iñigo Martínez and João Félix are expected to be in the squad for the start of the campaign with Martínez finalizing his move this week, while Coman’s possible arrival would further boost their chances. Bayern, meanwhile, face a tough start to the Bundesliga with injuries and squad changes. The next days will be crucial in deciding whether Coman swaps Munich for Riyadh to become a central figure in Al Nassr’s push for domestic glory.
