Arnau Tenas Completes Transfer From PSG to Villarreal

Arnau Tenas is moving to Villarreal from Paris Saint-Germain. Both clubs have signed the needed documents. The Spanish goalkeeper will arrive in Castellón this week. Villarreal will pay €6 million for him. He signed a contract until June 2029.

WHAT HAPPENED?

PSG and Villarreal completed the paperwork after both teams agreed on the transfer. Originally, PSG and Villarreal talked about a loan deal. They eventually settled on a permanent move. Tenas joined PSG from FC Barcelona in 2023. At age 24, he was the third-choice goalkeeper in Paris. He barely played there, featuring mostly in cup games. He wanted more regular playing time, so he pushed for a move. Tenas underwent medical examinations in Villarreal on Wednesday before signing his official contract.
