Arsenal Close to Signing Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia

Arsenal are close to signing Spanish defender Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia. The transfer fee could reach €20 million with add-ons. The young centre-back will have a medical in London this week. The club wants to complete the move before their pre-season tour of Singapore.

According to a previous report, Valencia is asking for around €20 million for Christian Mosquera.

DETAILS OF THE AGREEMENT

Arsenal made a verbal agreement with Valencia to sign Mosquera. He told Valencia he only wanted to join Arsenal. Arsenal will pay an initial €15 million. The final fee will be under €20 million. The 21-year-old played almost every game for Valencia last season, missing just one league match. Valencia lost heavily 7-1 in that game.
