Atlético Madrid in Talks to Sign Renato Veiga from Chelsea

WHY IS VEIGA ON THE MOVE?

He wants to be a centre-back, so he went on loan to Juventus, became a regular in their Serie A team and earned a call-up to Portugal’s UEFA Nations League squad. Veiga’s contract at Chelsea runs until 2031, but both he and the club are open to a transfer as he faces strong competition for a place in the team.
