According to a previous report, Frenkie de Jong has one year left on his current contract ending in June 2026.

The renewal could include a slight increase to his base salary, but also includes restructured terms that would help Barcelona manage deferred payments from the COVID-19 pandemic, freeing up space on the club’s wage bill and supporting their plans to register new signings like Roony Bardghji and possibly Nico Williams this summer.
