Barcelona’s sporting director Deco ended all rumors about Ronald Araujo’s future. He confirmed both the club and player are happy with their current setup.

Deco addressed Araujo‘s status at the club by saying, “We are happy with Ronald. Ronald is happy. That’s why there’s no discussion about his future.” This came four months after Araujo signed a contract extending his stay until 2031. He signed the deal in January 2025 in a ceremony attended by club president Joan Laporta, vice-president Rafa Yuste, and Deco.
