Benjamin Šeško Determined to Stay in Europe Despite Saudi Pro League Interest

Benjamin Šeško has again turned down Saudi Arabian clubs. He wants to keep playing in Europe. The Slovenian striker is focused on his future with RB Leipzig and top European football.

ŠEŠKO’S POSITION ON SAUDI ARABIA INTEREST

For two months, Saudi Pro League clubs have tried to sign Šeško. Sources say he has always refused, even with big money offers. He wants to play in Europe and at the highest level. This is the same as in June when he rejected similar offers.

ŠEŠKO’S SEASON AND TRANSFER LANDSCAPE

The 22-year-old had a great season with RB Leipzig, scoring 21 goals, including four in the UEFA Champions League. His performance attracted interest from big European clubs like Arsenal and Al Hilal. However, RB Leipzig reportedly has a release clause in Šeško’s contract that could cost up to €100 million, effectively halting any transfer discussions at this time. Arsenal is currently looking at other targets, and Al Hilal’s hopes are fading since Šeško wants to stay in Europe.

LOOKING AHEAD: ŠEŠKO AND RB LEIPZIG’S NEXT STEPS

Šeško is likely to stay at RB Leipzig for the next Bundesliga season. Leipzig, who finished seventh last season and missed out on European football, will aim to make a stronger showing this year. They will not play in the Champions League group stage and as such the Slovenian striker may be looking at offers from teams that will play at the highest level, with their first match against VfB Stuttgart. With his future set, Šeško will focus on helping Leipzig close the gap to Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, who were above them in the standings.
