Besiktas Target Emerson Royal in Loan Deal With Buy Option

Besiktas are trying to sign AC Milan right-back Emerson Royal on loan, with an option to buy. The Turkish club has contacted Milan after getting Emerson’s approval for the move.

Besiktas are very interested in Emerson Royal, 26, who joined AC Milan from Tottenham last summer for €15 million. Emerson played 26 games for Milan last season, but he lost his starting spot after a calf injury in January. As AC Milan is looking for a right-back due to having Kyle Walker and Davide Calabria out, they may not favor Emerson in their current plans.
