Borges Sanches Leaves Borussia Mönchengladbach to Join Heracles Almelo

Yvandro Borges Sanches has moved from Borussia Mönchengladbach to Dutch Eredivisie club Heracles Almelo. He signed a deal until June 2028. The transfer is worth €500,000, and Mönchengladbach can buy him back.

WHAT HAPPENED?

21-year-old Borges Sanches left Borussia Mönchengladbach to join Heracles Almelo for more playing time. He passed his medical in the Netherlands and agreed to a four-year contract. Mönchengladbach will receive a €500,000 fee and can buy him back for €2.5 million. Borges Sanches joined Gladbach’s academy in 2020 but only played 41 minutes with the first team.

Heracles Almelo are trying to strengthen their team after finishing 15th in the Eredivisie last season. They need more attacking options and hope Borges Sanches can help them.
