The Portuguese midfielder has netted 79 goals and provided 67 assists across 234 appearances for the club. Bruno took over as the permanent captain of the team in the summer of 2024 and delivered the FA Cup title in his first season as the leader of the team. Bruno has always maintained that he believes in the direction in which Ruben Amorim is leading the club and wants to win more trophies with the club before he departs.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR MANCHESTER UNITED?

Manchester United will begin their 2025-26 season in the Premier League with game against Arsenal on Saturday, August 9. The new season opener is set to be a closely contested one, with Arsenal finishing 2nd place last season.
