Chelsea Reach Club World Cup Final and Earn Record Prize Money

Chelsea will play in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final. They have already won nearly £80 million from the tournament and recent successes.

CHELSEA’S ROAD TO THE FINAL

Chelsea reached the Club World Cup final after beating Fluminense. They will now play either Paris Saint-Germain or Real Madrid in the final on Sunday, July 13, in the United States. By reaching this stage, Chelsea have earned around $74.6 million (about £58 million) so far, and the total is expected to be close to £80 million with tournament performance bonuses and potential rewards for victory added.

Chelsea recently reached the Club World Cup semi-finals and will face Fluminense for a place in the final.

The final is scheduled for July 13.

SEASON OF SUCCESS UNDER ENZO MARESCA

Chelsea have improved considerably since Enzo Maresca took over as manager. The club returned to the Champions League, won the Europa Conference League trophy, and has advanced to the Club World Cup final. Maresca’s tactics and player management have helped the club recover from a difficult previous season, and reaching the final stage of a lucrative event is an additional financial boost.

Chelsea won the Europa Conference League last season.

Chelsea finished fourth in the Premier League last season, guaranteeing Champions League qualification.

LOOKING AHEAD: FINAL SHOWDOWN AND FUTURE IMPLICATIONS

Chelsea will play the Club World Cup final on July 13 in the US. PSG and former Spanish champions Real Madrid are possible opponents with both clubs in strong form on the domestic front. A win for Chelsea would further boost their financial position for the year, and with new signings already arriving during the summer window, Chelsea look set to be a force to be reckoned with in the new Premier League and Champions League season.

Chelsea signed Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, and Joao Pedro for up to £60 million this summer.
