Cody Gakpo Reveals Bayern Munich Talks Before Luis Diaz Transfer

Liverpool player Cody Gakpo revealed that Bayern Munich talked to him about a transfer in the summer before they decided to sign his teammate, Luis Diaz.

Cody Gakpo said in an interview that Bayern Munich contacted him during the last transfer window. Gakpo mentioned that after discussions, Bayern chose to sign Colombian winger Luis Diaz from Liverpool instead. Gakpo added, “Bayern tried to sign me; there were talks… but in the end, they decided to go for Luis Diaz.”
