Emerson Palmieri Set for Move to Marseille

Emerson Palmieri is set to join Olympique Marseille. After successful talks with West Ham United, the left-back will soon head to France to complete his transfer. Reports indicate that he is close to signing with the club.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Marseille and West Ham agreed on Emerson Palmieri‘s transfer. Marseille will pay €1 million, including add-ons. Emerson has already agreed to personal terms. Club leaders like Pablo Longoria, Medhi Benatia, and coach Roberto De Zerbi pushed for his signing. Emerson, 31, spent two seasons with West Ham, playing mostly as a backup left-back.
