Endrick to Miss FIFA Club World Cup Due to Hamstring Injury

Real Madrid forward Endrick has injured his right hamstring. This will keep him out of the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup. The injury is difficult for both the player and the team.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Endrick hurt his hamstring. This happened after Real Madrid‘s medical team did some tests. The club confirmed the injury in his right hamstring. While they didn’t give a specific recovery time, it’s unlikely he’ll be ready for the FIFA Club World Cup.

Real Madrid starts the tournament on June 18 against Al-Hilal. They have more group games against Pachuca on June 22 and RB Salzburg on June 27. Endrick’s recovery will be monitored, but he might not return until the 2025-26 season.

SEASON SO FAR: REAL MADRID AND ENDRICK

This injury disappointingly ends Endrick’s first season with Real Madrid. The 18-year-old forward scored just one goal in 22 La Liga games, mostly as a substitute. However, he did better in cup matches, scoring five in the Copa del Rey and one in the Champions League.

Real Madrid have had many injuries all season but are still leading La Liga. They aim for success in international competition, too. Endrick’s absence adds to their injury problems, with players like Eduardo Camavinga and Ferland Mendy also out.

WHAT COMES NEXT?

With Endrick injured, Real Madrid may need Castilla players Gonzalo García and Víctor Muñoz during the FIFA Club World Cup. The club hopes Endrick can recover in time for the 2025-26 preseason.

Real Madrid’s next big task is the Club World Cup. They want to stay on top internationally, even with several key players injured. Their first opponent, Al-Hilal, finished second in the Saudi Pro League. Pachuca and RB Salzburg are champions in Mexico and Austria. Madrid’s squad will be tested as they aim to end the season well.
