Irish striker Evan Ferguson has arrived in Italy to complete his move from Brighton to AS Roma. The clubs have agreed on a season-long loan with a €40 million option to buy.

Evan Ferguson, 20, landed in Rome on Sunday and is set to sign with AS Roma in Serie A. He joins from Brighton on an initial loan, with Roma having the option to make it permanent for €40 million. His arrival comes after an unsuccessful loan spell at West Ham, where he started only one game last season and didn’t score any goals.
