FC Porto Open Talks With Ajax Over Kenneth Taylor Transfer

FC Porto have formally started negotiations with Ajax for the signing of midfielder Kenneth Taylor, submitting an official bid to bring the Dutch international to Portugal this summer.

Porto have made Kenneth Taylor a top target following the arrival of Francesco Farioli as their new head coach. Farioli is keen to reunite with Taylor, whom he managed during his brief stint at Ajax last season. While Porto have submitted an official offer for Taylor, Ajax have set a high asking price, reportedly demanding at least €30 million for the midfielder. Taylor’s strong performances, including nine goals and six assists in last year’s Eredivisie campaign, have increased his value as Ajax look to raise funds and adjust their wage structure.
