Feyenoord Complete Signing of Gonçalo Borges from FC Porto

Feyenoord have signed Portuguese winger Gonçalo Borges from FC Porto. The 24-year-old moves to the Dutch club after both teams finalized paperwork for the €9 million deal, which includes €2 million in add-ons.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Borges leaves FC Porto after 10 years to join Feyenoord. Porto initially rejected Feyenoord’s offer, but the clubs agreed on a deal worth up to €11 million. The winger played 88 games and scored two goals for Porto, both of which were last season during his best spell yet. He also recorded six assists in 38 appearances, proving his value from the wings.
