Fulham Keep Key Trio Until 2026 With New Contracts
Fulham have secured three key players for next season. They have extended the contracts of Harry Wilson, Adama Traoré, and Raúl Jiménez until the summer of 2026.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Fulham announced they’ve used extension options in the contracts of Wilson, Traoré, and Jiménez. These players have been important for Marco Silva’s team this season. The extensions mean they will stay with Fulham through 2025/26, adding consistency to Silva’s plans.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Wilson has scored five goals this season, including important goals in wins over Chelsea and Brentford. Traoré has also impressed with two goals and eight assists. However, Jiménez has been the standout, scoring 13 goals. His contract now goes until after the World Cup in Mexico next summer, motivating him to keep up his form.
WHAT THE CLUB SAID
Tony Khan, Fulham’s director of football, shared his satisfaction with the extensions on the club’s website. “I’m excited to announce that we have activated the club’s option to extend the contracts of Harry Wilson, Adama Traoré and Raúl Jiménez through to the end of next season. Harry has been a huge part of the success we’ve enjoyed under Marco Silva, scoring some vitally important goals, and it’s great to see him back. Adama and Raúl both joined in the summer of 2023, and their significant contributions have shown exactly why we wanted to bring them to the football club,” he said.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR FULHAM’S TRANSFER PLANS
With these players secured, Fulham can now use their transfer budget to improve other positions. Reports say they might replace striker Carlos Vinícius, who could leave. Wilson’s performance has been strong, but the club may still sign another winger for more depth. The extensions allow Fulham to keep their squad core while making strategic additions.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR FULHAM?
With these contracts extended, Fulham can plan for future success. They are aiming for a mid-table finish this Premier League season, building a strong foundation for 2025/26. Silva’s team wants to move higher up the league next season. Fans hope Jiménez will continue his goalscoring form as he prepares for the World Cup in Mexico next summer.
