Greg Taylor Leaves Celtic to Join PAOK on Three-Year Deal

Greg Taylor, a five-time Scottish Premier League champion, has agreed to join Greek side PAOK on a three-year contract after leaving Celtic as a free agent.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Greg Taylor and PAOK have agreed on a three-year contract. Taylor is leaving Celtic after six years and will join the Greek club as a free agent when his Celtic deal expires on 30th June.

According to a previous report we published, he is expected to travel to Greece next week to undergo a medical examination and sign his contract.

GREG TAYLOR’S IMPACT AT CELTIC

Taylor joined Celtic from Kilmarnock in 2019 and has made 160 appearances for the club. He has been a key player under several managers, winning five Scottish league titles, three League Cups, and the Scottish Cup three times, including last month.

As previously reported, he has been Celtic’s first-choice left-back this season, starting most of their matches and playing a crucial role in their Scottish Cup final victory.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR PAOK AND TAYLOR?

PAOK are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of a challenging campaign. Their main goal is to qualify for European competitions after missing out last season.
