Hellas Verona have reached an agreement to sign Brazilian striker Giovane Santana do Nascimento, who leaves Corinthians to begin a new phase of his career in Italy.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Giovane Santana do Nascimento, a 21-year-old forward, has agreed to join Serie A side Hellas Verona after his contract with Corinthians expired. Giovane decided not to renew with the Brazilian club, reportedly seeking more opportunities and a fresh challenge in Europe. Over four seasons at Corinthians, he scored 9 goals in 68 appearances and has international experience with Brazil’s youth teams, including winning the South American Championship with the Under-20 squad in 2023. Verona, now under coach Paolo Zanetti, are strengthening their attacking options with this signing ahead of the 2025/26 season.
