Inter Milan Confirm Interest in Parma Striker Ange-Yoan Bonny
Inter Milan president Giuseppe Marotta has said the club wants Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny. They are in talks to sign him as part of their summer transfer plans. Inter aim to strengthen their squad.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Marotta said Inter are interested in the 21-year-old French forward. He impressed in Serie A last season with six goals and four assists in 37 league matches. Bonny played a key role for Parma.
The two clubs have started talks. Parma reportedly want a €25 million transfer fee. There is also talk of including Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito in the deal.
Bonny is eager to join Inter. The final details of the deal are being worked out.
THE SEASON SO FAR
Inter Milan won the 2024/25 Serie A title. They showed strong form under new coach Cristian Chivu. The Nerazzurri plan for a busy summer, preparing for the FIFA Club World Cup and defending their domestic title.
Parma, meanwhile, finished mid-table following their promotion. Bonny was one of their standout players.
Inter need depth behind starters Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez. Bonny is seen as an ideal fit for this role.
WHAT NEXT?
The deal is in its final stages. Both clubs are working out the details, including possible player exchanges or loan components.
If completed, Bonny could join Inter in time for pre-season and the Club World Cup. The Super Cup match against last season’s Coppa Italia winners follows.
Adding Bonny would give Inter options as they aim to remain competitive at the top in Italy and Europe.
