Inter Milan to Announce Signing of Yoan-Ange Bonny
Inter Milan will announce the signing of Yoan-Ange Bonny on Saturday. Bonny will join as their new striker in the summer transfer window.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Inter Milan reached an agreement with Parma to sign Yoan-Ange Bonny. The French forward will cost €23 million plus add-ons. Bonny, 21, will sign a five-year deal, earning €2 million per season. The announcement will happen on Saturday, after being delayed. Stuttgart tried to recruit Bonny but failed. Bonny played under Inter’s manager, Cristian Chivu, at Parma.
INTER’S SEASON, BONNY’S RECORD, AND SQUAD CHANGES
Inter Milan finished second in Serie A last season. They are looking to strengthen their attacking options, especially with Marko Arnautovic and Mehdi Taremi leaving. Bonny scored six goals and provided four assists last season, helping Parma avoid relegation. He will serve as a backup for Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, with Francesco Pio Esposito also in the squad.
