Inter Milan Turn Down Utrecht’s Approach for Thomas Berenbruch

Inter Milan have turned down an offer from Utrecht for young midfielder Thomas Berenbruch. Inter have full faith in the Italian talent for their future success.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The Dutch side Utrecht made an approach to sign Thomas Berenbruch, but Inter Milan have rejected the offer. The club has released an official statement reaffirming their trust in the 19-year-old midfielder. Berenbruch joined the Inter academy in 2020 and is now seen as one of their best prospects. He has already made his first-team debut over in the Champions League and Coppa Italia and featured as a substitute against Feyenoord recently. The 2004-born talent is contracted until 2028, which shows Inter’s trust in him.

Berenbruch continues to impress at the U19 level and is a regular name on Inter’s first-team bench. With Inter showing faith in Berenbruch, the young midfielder will likely continue to split time between the senior bench and the Primavera squad.
