Manchester United want to sell Jadon Sancho permanently this summer. He spent last season on loan at Chelsea. The club has now officially added him to their transfer list. He scored seven goals in 31 Premier League matches for Chelsea and netted a goal in the Europa Conference League final win against Real Betis.

Sancho’s relationship with manager Erik ten Hag looks beyond repair after their public dispute last season. Despite Chelsea’s purchase clause worth £25 million in the loan agreement, talks between Chelsea and the winger have stalled over his salary demands. The player reportedly earns £250,000 per week at United, which has created a contract issue with Chelsea.

Chelsea could still choose not to sign Sancho permanently and would need to pay £5 million in compensation to United. Meanwhile, Chelsea are reportedly pursuing Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens as Sancho’s replacement, with the English Under-21 star expected to command a fee of around £50 million.
