João Félix Arrives at Al Nassr Camp Ahead of Blockbuster Move

Portuguese forward João Félix has joined Al Nassr’s pre-season camp. This is the next step in his big transfer from Chelsea to the Saudi Pro League club.

WHAT HAPPENED?

João Félix is nearing the final steps of his move from Chelsea. The clubs agreed on an initial fee of €30 million, with add-ons that could reach €50 million. Chelsea will also benefit from a future sell-on clause. His arrival means he will team up with Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, forming a strong duo for Al Nassr. According to a recent report, Chelsea and João Félix agreed to a transfer deal.

FÉLIX’S EUROPEAN JOURNEY AND AL NASSR’S PLANS

Despite a record-breaking €126 million move to Atlético Madrid in 2019, Félix struggled to meet early expectations. He scored 34 goals in 131 games for Atlético and more during loan spells at Chelsea, Barcelona, and AC Milan. Last season at Chelsea, he played 19 games and scored five goals before his January loan to Milan, where he added three goals in 21 appearances.

Al Nassr, who finished third in the Saudi Pro League last season, hopes Félix can help them reclaim top domestic status in the upcoming campaign. They are counting on his attacking talent and partnership with Ronaldo.

WHAT COMES NEXT FOR AL NASSR AND FÉLIX?

Al Nassr’s season begins soon, with high expectations to challenge reigning champions Al Ittihad and 2nd placed team Al Hilal, who finished just four points ahead. They will face Al Raed in the opener, a team that has been mid-table in recent years. Fans are excited to see if Félix’s addition can close the gap at the top, especially as Al Ahli and Al Ittihad also strengthen.

Félix aims to establish himself as a key player and boost his career. He will be under pressure to deliver quick goals and assists alongside Ronaldo as the team seeks both league and continental success.
