João Félix Signs Two-Year Deal With Al Nassr Until 2027

Portuguese forward João Félix has agreed to join Saudi club Al Nassr on a two-year contract. This will run until June 2027. The 25-year-old will leave Chelsea after a challenging season. He aims to revive his career in Riyadh alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

TRANSFER DETAILS CONFIRMED

João Félix joins Al Nassr on a permanent transfer from Chelsea. The Saudi side will pay an initial €30 million with potential add-ons. The new contract means Félix will earn €12 million annually. Chelsea and João Félix agreed to a transfer deal, which includes a major sell-on clause, helping Chelsea approach their €50 million valuation for the player.

Félix’s decision was influenced by Al Nassr manager Jorge Jesus and national team captain Ronaldo. They convinced him to pick the Saudi side over Benfica’s offer. Félix is expected to join Al Nassr’s pre-season camp in Austria shortly, pending a routine medical check.

RECENT FORM AND CURRENT SITUATION

Félix’s recent career has been turbulent. Last season on loan at AC Milan, he managed only three goals in 19 Serie A games in the 2024/25 campaign. Previously, he struggled to secure a starting role at Chelsea after his high-profile loan and transfer from Atletico Madrid.

Al Nassr finished third in the Saudi Pro League last season, just behind both Al Hilal and the new champions Al Ittihad. They will be looking to challenge for the title again. The arrival of Félix, joining stars like Ronaldo, is expected to boost their attacking power for the new season.

LOOKING AHEAD TO THE NEW SEASON

Al Nassr’s next match will be the opening day of the Saudi Pro League 2025/26 campaign. They will face Al Ettifaq, who finished mid-table last year. With Al Nassr ending last season in third place, they are determined to close the gap and win the title.

João Félix’s signing is seen as a major step towards this goal. Fans will be eager to see if Félix can rediscover his top form playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. He will aim to compete for both domestic and continental trophies in the year ahead.
