Juventus Agree €32m Deal for Francisco Conceição from FC Porto

Juventus and FC Porto have agreed on the transfer of Francisco Conceição. The Portuguese winger is set to join the Italian team for more than €30 million. The payment will be made over the next four years.

DEAL DETAILS AND TIMING

Juventus will pay Porto €32 million in four payments of €8 million each. All documents are ready, just waiting for Conceição to agree. He must waive his right to 20% of the transfer value for the deal to go through. The clubs have successfully completed their talks, which sets the stage for one of Serie A’s big summer moves.

PLAYER IMPACT AND RECENT FORM

Conceição returned to Porto for the 2023-24 season after a loan at Ajax. He became one of the team’s key players, ending the season with seven goals and seven assists. A CIES Football study named him the second-best dribbler in the world. His performances were key for Porto, who finished third in the 2024/25 Primeira Liga, as confirmed by a recent report. Meanwhile, Juventus finished fourth in Serie A last season, which allows them to be back in the Champions League after missing it in 2024 according to reports.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR JUVENTUS AND CONCEIÇÃO?

Once all paperwork is done, Conceição is expected to be introduced as the new Juventus signing. He will join preseason training as Juventus get ready for their Champions League return. Their first official game of the 2025-26 season is against Parma. This match could be an early chance for Conceição to shine. Juventus aim to improve on last season’s fourth-place finish, as they look to catch up with Serie A’s best teams and compete in Europe.
