Juventus and PSG Still Stuck Over Kolo Muani Transfer Terms

Negotiations between Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain for Randal Kolo Muani remain stalled, with no breakthrough on the transfer formula despite the striker’s strong desire to return to Turin. According to reports, Juventus are currently in final talks with PSG about Kolo Muani’s transfer, which is expected to be worth around €55 million, but significant differences still exist between the two clubs.

WHAT’S THE HOLD-UP?

Randal Kolo Muani, 26, has been pushing for a move to Juventus after enjoying a loan spell from January to June. He reportedly turned down offers from Premier League clubs, waiting for the Italian side to finalize an agreement with PSG. Both clubs have been in discussions for months about a loan deal with an option to buy. The major obstacle is the condition that triggers Juventus’ obligation to purchase Kolo Muani. Juventus proposes that the €45 million obligation only takes effect if they qualify for the 2026-27 Champions League, while PSG seeks a more certain condition that guarantees the player’s permanent exit regardless of Juventus’ performance.

JUVENTUS’ SEASON, KOL0R MUANI’S SITUATION

Juventus are aiming to strengthen their squad after finishing Serie A last season in fourth place, and securing Champions League football. Kolo Muani impressed during his loan, making 22 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists. His form has made him a priority for the Old Lady, who want more attacking firepower to close the gap on Napoli, last season’s champions. Meanwhile, PSG have been open to letting Kolo Muani leave following his reduced role under coach Luis Enrique, yet remain insistent on favorable terms for their finances going forward. Reports suggest that PSG values Kolo Muani at €60 million, which adds further complexity to the negotiations.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR THE DEAL?

The two clubs are expected to hold further talks as the transfer window draws to a close. Juventus’ next match is against Bologna, who is fighting for European spots, and any last-minute squad addition could affect their early season momentum. PSG, who won Ligue 1 last season with a total of 84 points, may reconsider their stance if Juventus improve their offer. For now, unless one side changes their demands, Kolo Muani’s future remains uncertain, though he continues to wait for a return to Turin where he hopes to establish himself long-term.
